In the early 1990’s, Hanson Cold Storage enjoyed an excellent reputation as a Midwest growers warehousing company. Our business was in the farms and fields of Michigan, Indiana and Illinois. Our mission was to lock in the quality of fruits and vegetables, keep it safe and sound until needed.

We’re still deeply committed to the grower community, with many of our facilities dedicated to providing world-class processing and storage services. Yet, there is another side of Hanson Logistics that many in the industry have yet to experience, and that’s the “Yes We Can” service of multi-vendor consolidation, finished goods distribution, and a full portfolio of dedicated, LTL and truckload capabilities. Now the Hanson name can be seen on the highways looping Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas and Pittsburg . . . just to name a few. We’re knocking on the delivery door of more and more retail and foodservice DCs. Our logistics services are as innovative as they are cost-effective, and they’re unique in the cold supply chain: we offer a balance of company-owned and managed assets.
