Hanson Logistics Introduces Velocities Multi-Vendor Consolidation Program
The Hanson Logistics Velocities multi-vendor consolidation program continues to build momentum. Velocities leverages our strategic facility locations, truck fleet, technology and collaborative customer base to drive-down final mile delivery costs, optimize inventory flow and improve order fill rates.

Velocities Lower Cost, Continuous Replenishment
By consolidating orders and optimizing carrier capacity, Velocities benefits food manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers. It is a win/win cold supply chain solution. Food manufacturers and wholesalers are able to deliver smaller, higher frequency orders at a lower cost; retailers receive scheduled, mixed truckload deliveries consistent with their continuous fulfillment strategies.
How does Velocities work?
Participating vendors maintain stocking inventory in one of Hansons strategically located distribution centers. We can provide replenishment truckload transportation from your processing plant if required. Hanson combines your orders with those of multiple vendors, creating full truckload shipments for scheduled delivery to the same retail or foodservice distribution center. Velocities is supported by EDI and web-based inventory management, plus the performance-surety of company-owned trucks. Hanson schedulers work closely with manufacturers and retailers for scheduled deliveries that minimize dock congestion and assuring on-time replenishment.
