Hanson Logistics Promotes Reits, Janson To Executive VP Posts
Management Team Grows with Expanding Logistics Services

Officials at Hanson Logistics are pleased to announce the promotion of James A. Reits to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and Andrew B. Janson to Executive Vice President of Business Development.

Both Reits, 43, and Janson, 41, were previously vice presidents in their respective areas; their promotion to these newly created positions is designed to strengthen the company’s executive management team as Hanson expands their logistics services. “We’re privileged to have Jim and Andy on our executive management team,” said Hanson President Gregory P. Hanson. “They have each made significant contributions to our company, guiding Hanson through exciting and challenging service and operation expansions. I am confident of their continued ability to strengthen our financial and competitive position in the logistics industry.”

James A. Reits Andrew B. Janson

Reits joined Hanson in 1995 as controller, and was promoted to CFO in 1997. He was previously Sales Controller for Zenith Data Systems. He received his BA in Accounting and MBA in Finance from Western Michigan University. Reits is past Chairman of the IARW Insurance Committee.

A graduate of Rockhurst University, Janson has nearly 20 years of experience in food distribution and logistics. He joined Hanson in 2004 to spearhead the company’s new logistics service offering. Janson serves in various leadership roles with the IARW and WFLO.
