Letter From The President
Our Chain of Command
Dear Friends,
Theres an underlying component to customer service that not every warehouse or logistics provider is eager to discuss: chain of command or, specifically, where the buck stops.
Hanson Logistics is a closely owned company with an excellent management team empowered to make decisions on the front lines. And, quite frankly, were all more or less on the front lines.

When the gears of commerce are meshing smoothly, theres little competitive advantage to being locally owned and managed, unless youre sensitive to where your logistics dollars go. Product arrives and ships on time; orders are picked accurately; appointments are made and kept. Its when a customer hits one of the frequent bumps in the road, and needs help quickly, that the large hierarchy becomes an issue. Corporate offices on the other side of the country, or the other side of ocean, can only respond so fast. National chains and large trucking companies may offer more horsepower; Hanson offers a nimble, hands on response to your emergencies and special needs. Our Yes, We Can! attitude is apparent at all our facilities and forms the basis of our response to virtually every request. We do not have parent companies that compete with you. Whats more, our executive team is accessible and attuned to your business.
Thats not to say that size and service are mutually exclusive. Some of our best competitors are large because they have excelled in the area of service. I simply want to remind you of the value of working closely with a logistics team that appreciates your business and is committed to making sure we earn and keep it.
Respectfully,
Gregory P. Hanson
President & CEO
