Hanson Logistics Promotes Blake Larkin to Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing

St. Joseph, Michigan, December 16, 2019 . . Hanson Logistics, a leading provider of temperature- controlled logistics services, announced today that Blake Larkin has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing from VP of Business Development.

Blake Larkin, Hanson LogisticsIn this newly created position, Blake will be responsible for strategic marketing direction and execution, as well as overseeing all sales activities, including customer relations. Blake will now spearhead all transportation and freight sales; a change that aligns sales efforts with the company’s unique single- source offering.

Blake joined the company in 2009 as Vice President of Business Development. He has been instrumental in developing, implementing and growing the company’s Velocities Multi-Vendor Consolidation program, one of the largest and most successful frozen food consolidation programs in the US.

Blake is a seasoned executive with 20 years of management experience in food and logistics. Early in his career, Larkin joined Dole Food Company as a senior Financial Analyst, rising to General Manager of Logistics Services, Fresh Vegetables Division. He then spent 10 years with Millard Refrigerated Services as Director of Transportation Development and Vice President of Business Development.

Fluent in Spanish and active in supply chain organizations, Larkin received his BA from Weber State University and his MBA from Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Management.
